Hello! I’m Jan Miyabara, a multi-hyphenate Apparel Designer based in Los Angeles, CA. I specialize in design & development of Womenswear with experience in Menswear, Kidswear, Swimwear and denim.

Born and raised in Hawai’i, I practically lived at the beach in my swimsuits.  This is where my love of fashion began. Growing up in the most isolated place on earth, I also learned from a young age to use what I had available to me and to live in harmony with nature. I’ve carried these values with me throughout my life & career and always design with sustainability and the environment in mind.

My designs are clean, effortless, and timeless. I can work within a budget and I don’t believe that quality needs to be sacrificed for cost.

I provide a wide spectrum of design & development services including fashion, graphic, & technical design as well as project management/development.  I have cultivated relationships with local printers, contractors, and other vendors and love supporting small businesses so prefer domestic development and production; however, I can assist with overseas development as well.
